SACRAMENTO, CA – While disappointed Assembly Bill 470 is not moving forward, the bill made important progress in the Legislature this year. The bill represented countless conversations and feedback received from key stakeholders across the state who are committed to developing a transition plan for California that leaves no one behind. It’s critical California is ready now to embrace future broadband investment and connect all Californians.
We look forward to continued discussions around this policy and remain committed to supporting solutions that help advance and modernize California’s communications network in a manner that benefits all Californians.
